Step-by-step guide tutorial when booking a reservation with Agoda.com

Booking hotels worldwide brings you a world of opportunities and experiences, regardless of whether you're a seasoned traveler looking for new experiences or someone starting a specific journey. Online hotel reservations are a simple and straightforward process. Here are the top useful tutorials for booking hotels online in the Philippines, listed with Agoda, 100% safe and secure.
Find this in the Agoda search box found in the sidebar of this article. )

1. Go to Agoda.com using your preferred web browser and create a free account with your first name, last name, email address, and desired password, then click Sign up. Check your email inbox and click Verify my email.

2. Put the name of your destination, let's say, in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, the number of guests, and the dates of check-in and check-out on the homepage. Select "Search" from the menu to display a list of available hotels based on your search criteria. Use filters to narrow your search by price range, star rating, and other amenities. But before that, you should check the hotel's name online to see if they have a Facebook page, Twitter, or any other social media accounts, and send a direct message to verify whether they are listed on the booking site I’ve mentioned.

3. Once verified, choose a property with the pay at the hotel option with free cancellation and click “ Book Now”. On the payment option where card details are required, Agoda won’t charge your Visa card. It’s only required to guarantee that you’ll pay at the property when you arrive. Kindly use the PalawanPay virtual visa card. Do not fund your card with a large amount, and $2 is enough in case there’s fraudulent activity, that site would take away your money, and I think that would never happen.

 4. Once you have placed all the required card details, you can proceed and click Book Now & Pay at the property. The confirmation of your booking with the reference number will be sent to your registered email address.

Use that reference number and inform the hotel that you have a confirmed booking. I would not recommend that you pay in advance online from the booking site. Always familiarize yourself with the hotel’s cancellation policy, in case your plans change, and you need to modify or cancel your reservation.

I know that Agoda is a secure and reputable booking platform to ensure the safety of our personal and financial information, but as I’ve said, do not pay in advance online. Just follow me on what I did when booking and traveling around the Philippines and abroad.
