I ordered my PSA birth certificate online from PSAHelpline.PH website provided by Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc., and I made a payment of ₱335 with complete identity verification. I received an email notification about a code to claim the certificate when it is ready to pick up at my designated pickup point location. I chose Robinsons Department Store on the 2nd floor of Abreeza Ayala Malls in Bajada, Davao City. I took 6 working days of processing and finally received it by the Business Center inside Robinsons store on March 19, 2026.
I went inside the business center and approached the teller. I also filled out the form with reference number, complete name, signature, and claim code of my order. She reviewed the documents in the files delivered by LBC from the PSA main office and said she couldn't find my birth certificate.
She looked very tired and lazy at that time while I was standing near the counter. Her friend, who is also a teller sitting beside her, said that she should look through the files surely to find my birth certificate because it was finally received from LBC.
Finally, she found my birth certificate and gave it to me. I got disappointed by her reaction when she couldn't find my birth certificate. Although it was very much cheaper when you want to pick up at your preferred location than door-to-door delivery in your area.
I decided to choose door-to-door delivery for the next purchase of my birth certificate from the website I mentioned in this article because I don't like the work attitude of a teller in a business center.
As an employee of a company, one should not be like those attitude in a workplace, as it can turn off customers. She didn't even know that I was observing her attitude towards her duties.
She's not arrogant, but was lazy while doing her job. Are you like this at work?
