I had a broken tooth extracted for free by a school dentist. Years later, I recognized that I still had dental issues.
In the past, I enjoyed consuming candy and chocolate. In 2022, I considered consulting a licensed dentist regarding my broken tooth, but I hesitated due to the high cost of dental services.
On March 19, 2023, I returned to Davao City and looked for a dental clinic on Facebook. I discovered Alcaria Dental Clinic, located at Door 2, Palo Building, 39 Libby Road, Puan in the Talomo District of Davao City.
I had difficulty sleeping due to a broken tooth in my lower jaw, so I decided to visit the clinic for an assessment. I sent a message and booked an appointment through their Facebook page.
Before heading to the clinic, I withdraw cash from the ATM for payment. I arrived at the clinic at 8:40 am on March 22, 2023, and noticed that there were other clients in line. Their policy is based on a first-come, first-served basis, so I waited until it was my turn.
The procedures performed by the dentist included a consultation, cleaning, and extraction. During the assessment, the dentist mentioned that she needed to remove the hardened buildup ( tartar or calculus) from my teeth in both the upper and lower jaw through scale and polish, which could not be cleaned with a toothbrush.
I ate varied foods with drinks every day. It is really inevitable to have tartar, plaque, and stains on our teeth. I felt comfortable because the dentist was beautiful and sexy. I only felt a tingling sensation while the dentist was doing the procedure on my teeth. It was my first time getting my teeth cleaned at a dental clinic. There was a little blood from my tooth, but I know it is normal. After the cleaning, anesthesia was injected into my gum with the broken tooth to prevent pain until it was completely extracted, but it bled. I really felt better after the extraction because the Doctor said that " If no action is taken, other teeth will be affected."
It's really hard to have a broken tooth these days, especially since we are always on duty at work. The Doctor gave me a prescription to buy the medicine at the nearest pharmacy, which I need to take to stop the bleeding and pain in my tooth.
How much did I pay and spend at Alcaria Dental Clinic?
Consultation - ₱400.00
Cleaning - ₱800.00
Extraction - ₱2,400.00
My broken tooth was a bit complicated, so I agreed to the price and paid a total of ₱3,600 pesos.
On April 5, 2023, I booked again and went to the clinic for the pasta procedure. The pasta is not included in the cleaning and extraction. In this procedure, caries (tooth decay) is removed from my four black teeth in the lower jaw (left & right) that need restoration. I still felt a tingling sensation in my teeth; the caries were removed and replaced with a new layer.
How much did I pay for the Pasta Procedure?
I paid ₱3,200, which was the cost for the pasta procedure. The Dentist's service was really good, so I thought that the next time I have a dental problem, I will still come back to their clinic. After the procedure, I can't chew foods like corn, cookies, or other crunchy foods. I also avoid candy, coffee, chocolate, and soft drinks.
Alcaria Dental Clinic is highly recommended because the Licensed Dentist will perform dental procedures with high technical accuracy, ensuring positive treatment outcomes. When you enter the clinic, the staff are very approachable, professional, and friendly.
Even if we say you're ugly, don't be shy to go and consult their clinic. If you don't take action to repair the damage to your teeth, it can get worse and become a big problem in the future.
This review is based on my personal experience, where this clinic has excellent service that I could recommend to all Davaoeños who have dental problems.
